Oh how the moments move in mysterious dances... I am simply hoping I understand their gentle movements. I have been accepted into a volunteer program called Otra Cosa and I would be traveling to Leymebamba, Peru where my untapped english teaching skills can be awakened. I have given myself roughly one month to get all the ducks in a row and as always it dawns on me too late how quickly time can move. It's a silent killer when even the longest moments can pass unaccounted for and slip into the foggy abyss. I continue to await those simple responses that open doors and give wings. I am unable to express my eagerness and feel like jumping into the waters head first and hoping I can swim. In the end I tie myself back with strings of caution and reason. How the heart can yearn for something so tender and so reluctant. These days I seem to exist as only a dream, I am slowly passing through as if I was a mere bystander praying that lightening will hit and I can awake. I still have to buy my plane ticket but until I hear my cofirmation from Otra Cosa I can only stand impatiently waiting... unwillingly waiting. I can close out fairly quickly I imagine... putting to rest a few of my dreamy chapters that exist in Rapid City, South Dakota. So, waiting, I will come to peace with time and allow it to continue to move in its assiduous dance.
